I wear the White Feather because:
Weather or not a 'pink lie' is acceptable or not, remains for everybody to decide for themselves. But as soon as a lie or deception is or could, inentionally or unintentionally, harms another person, we should restrain from it.
To be able to be honest to others, one needs to be honest to him/herself. An important element of the White Feather is to keep looking in the mirror, reflecting on how true we are to ourselves and which excuses we make not to feel bad about what we do. Being honest seems an easy thing to do, but might be the hardest when it comes to judging ourselves.
