Not judging others for whatever they are is a consequence of the freedom to be what I want to be en expecting others to respect that. Tolerance doesn't mean you agree with everything others do or believe, but you except their choice.
Tolerance implies no lack of commitment to one's own beliefs. Rather it condemns the oppression or persecution of others.
