The White Feather is an initiative from Anneke Schaafsma, who is originally Dutch but moved to Turkey in 2000. Having seen and experienced different views and cultures, she was always committed to finding what defines being human. The protests in Turkey convinced her it was time to stop thinking and start acting. Her wish is that peace seeking people all around the world can use this symbol to connect so they can work together for a better world
